Medical Malpractice Young Woman Receives Award for Radiation Exposure

Our office represented a young woman in a medical malpractice case against a physician who administered radiation treatments following surgery for cancer.  According to our client’s ob/gyn , she became sterile after receiving the radiation treatments to her pelvic area.
A physician must take reasonable steps to protect his patients from harm. In this case, the physician did not shield our client’s ovaries from radiation exposure.
After a week-long trial, our client received a substantial cash settlement.
