Jury Award in Auto Accident Case

A 40 year old woman herniated a disc in her back when her car was hit from behind by a tow truck. The tow truck's insurance company refused to pay any money arguing that our client did not suffer any serious injuries as a result of the accident, and it produced an orthopedic surgeon and a neurologist as witnesses to testify that our client was not seriously injured. After a two week jury trial, the jury awarded our client over $300,000.
