The two year old child of one of our clients was exposed to high levels of lead dust in his bedroom due to negligent work done by contractors in removing lead paint. A routine pediatric exam revealed an extremely high level of lead in the child’s blood. Four years later, the child had speech and learning difficulties requiring special education.
